I have to brag about how smart my son is.
Yesterday was our first parent teacher conference ever! I was really nervous going in to hear what she had to say. I don't know why because I know my boy is smart and doing well.
Well anyway I went in and she told me he is already writing the way they want them to write at the END of the year! WOW! He is so ahead in his writing. I cried when she showed me a picture Judah drew and then wrote "I want to be a doctor". Judah has never told me this. I never encouraged him to say he wants to be a doc or anything so it was completely HIS idea.
Of course there are things he needs to work on and has room to improve on. He is right where he needs to be with patterns, numbers and everything, but he is a bit behind on reading (which is a little weird since he is writing so well). He can only count to 28 still and that is where he was at the beginning of the year so that's the second thing he needs to work on.
She told me that when report cards come out, the grades are rated by numbers and 3 is the highest.
She said not to worry about Judah getting many twos because he is just a little sponge and is learning at a very rapid rate.
My boy is so smart it made me cry! I love him!
After parent teacher conferences my friends Diana and Brandi all went out to take the kiddos to FroYo which is a frozen yogurt place. Thanks Di for buying my kiddos ice cream! I appreciate it!
Of course a post is nothing without pictures :)
My smart man who looks kind of like alfalfa. He just needs the little point in the back of his hair haha!
Post eating before cleaning him up! This boy GOBBLES up his solids :)
My daughter is a GOOFBALL AND A HALF! :)

I remember going into my first parent conference. I had done many as the teacher but it's a totally different feeling to sit on the other side of the table. ;) So glad to hear he's doing well. Looks like everyone had a great time at FroYo. We have a similar place here and my kids love it.
