Funday Sunday!

Sunday was a fun day for us!
It was Jonathan's Nana's 80th birthday.
So we met up and Jonathan's parents house at nine in the morning so we could borrow their truck and head up to Longmont.
We joined the family in going to church, having cake and refreshments at church and then heading to Jonathan's aunt and uncles house for lunch!
We had the most delicious for for lunch
Homemade quiche, deviled eggs, kickin' cranberry chicken meatballs with blueberry salsa and so much more but these were my favorites!
Some funny things happened and some not so funny things happened
I will start with the not funny thing!

Jonathan's great uncle approached me while I was in line to get cake for the kids.
This is what happened.
Tony- I was informed that you are responsible for the atrocity that is your sons hair
Me- Yes
Tony- Why would you do that to him??
Me- Because it's cute!
Tony- No it's not!!!
Me- Uh, yes it is...
Tony- No it's not! Its hideous and humiliating! You should be ashamed of yourself!
I was left speechless.
I really didn't even know what to think!
It definitely made me super grumpy.

Then the funny thing was that Judah was talking to Ora on the way up to Longmont and referring to Jonathan's cousin Ian
I guess Ora asked Judah who Ian was.
Judah said "Ian is the half grown up, he's a teenager" haha.

Here are some photos from the day!
How did I make such a handsome kid!!!
Sweet sweet boy.

Just stopping by from the Monday Mom Musings blog hop. Those fall color pictures are awesome. I wish I could get some of my little man in the leaves. It just hasn't worked out so far.

What cheery photos! I love the one with the swing. Sorry about the hairstyle comment. Sometimes I guess we just have to keep opinions to ourselves. Can't please 'em all.
